You can also take a look at https://en.parkopedia.co.uk which will indicate where is best to park at the best rate.

Weekends are usually much quieter than weekdays so you’re much more likely to be guaranteed a spot

Air conditioning and Heating

Unfortunately, as a historic Georgian, family-owned hotel, we don’t have air conditioning in our rooms. As much as it is something we would like to provide, the installation costs would be prohibitive.

However, we do have fans at reception so in the few weeks that we have particularly hot weather, we can give you one on request.  Our rooms all have windows that can be opened to allow air to circulate too.

The rest of the year we do have central heating and radiators that you can adjust to suit your needs. If you are unsure about how to do this please don’t hesitate to speak to reception who will be more than happy to assist.

Is there a safe in each room?

We do not have safes in our rooms but we do have several safety deposit boxes at reception. We are always happy to hold any valuables there at no extra charge.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Our check-in times are from 2 pm and check out is before 11 am.

If you arrive early or your journey home is likely to be later then we do have space to store luggage for you on the day of check-in and check out.

Can you accommodate my dietary requirements?

At the moment we do not offer a specific breakfast menu for different dietary requirements.

Should you wish to buy items that are more suitable for your diet, we are more than happy to store and prepare them for you. Several supermarkets within walking distance cater for coeliac and dairy-free diets, including Marks and Spencer’s, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s.

We also have an allergens list available here.

All of our rooms are en-suite. All have shower facilities and some have baths too.

Are disabled rooms available at your hotel?
